Tudor Pepsi GMT

Loving this thing. Really surprised how well it fits. I havre a 7.5” wrist so maybe that’s why. I think it’s a beauty.

Great pic! I’ve had mine for a few weeks and I’ve been really enjoying it also!

Beautiful! I was waiting for a Rolex Pepsi. But I may have to go for the Tudor (although the date change issues worry me a little--I hate the idea of popping open a brand new case soon after delivery).

I bought mine second hand and it has some good scratches and marks on it already from strap changes etc. Just how I like it. This thing is going to get some wrist time and definitely will look the part of a tool watch. Date window does not seem to be an issue but time will tell. If it has to go back and get fixed then I don’t really care. It would hopefully return to me a brand new watch on the inside at least after the repair.

Congratulations. I wear my Tudor GMT more than any of my other watches these days. It made me totally lose interest in getting the Rolex Pepsi.

Absolutely love mine, and I share a lot of the feelings of the fine gents above me; this gets more wrist time than some of the Rolex I have.

I bought the BBB instead of this and kind of regret it a bit, should have waited.

Might trade in at some point.

This is definitely going to get similar or more wrist time than my Sub and ExpII. I just love it!

The Tudor GMT is the watch I wear most now. It released a lot of pent up Rolex GMT pressure too. I wasn’t convinced I wasn’t being a bit caught up in the hype wave, and then I realised that a watch with similar / better specs and better colours for 1/4 the grey price would actually suit me just fine.

Awesome photos - shows how that bezel can really pop in certain light

Tudor did such an amazing job with this piece. They did the hardest thing - they did NOT overdo it. Kept is simple, clean dial, subtle bezel colors, thinner bezel and larger dial, indices not too large, just looks great.

Is the date issues resolved? Rolex cannot be selling new watches with such issues if they knew about it right?

Rolex, as I'm sure other brands, have had the same issue when releasing a new movement. Don't think Rolex or Tudor would knowingly release a watch with an inherent problem. But when a new design is created it takes more than internal testing to make sure all the bugs have been worked out.

I mean it is a known bug. So from now onwards all gmt that exited Tudor will not have this issue?

It seems like most of the watches sold after December '18 are just fine. The date bug really affected watches that were sold prior to that.

Even if it does have problems, it'll obviously get fixed. I sent mine in at the end of February/beginning of March, and I just got it back last week. The wait seemed to take FOREVER, but it's back and I like it even more than I did when I sent it in.

Mine was originally purchased in July ‘18.

I’ve only owned it for 36 hours but so far no date issue!!
