UK home insurance recommendations

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend any UK home insurance companies when insuring their high value watches. There seems to be a cap or limit on most so wondered if anyone had personal recommendations as the prices rise?

Yeah they have come back with saying due to the price increase in the models owned the total amount they cannot cover.

I’m with Aviva who are decent. Have you considered a safe. If you advise the insurance company that watches are stores in an insurance approved safe when not worn this usually will allow them to be put on the policy.

Hi, I purchased a new Sub C just before Christmas and my home insurance is with Halifax.
They have upped my annual premium by £50 pa. The watch is insured at home or 'whilst temporarily away from home'. Insured to £11K.
(Yes, I bought a Grey one !)

I am with AXA, they included upto 35k I believe. Insured anywhere in the world if in my possession.. I have been using ripe for those thst took me over the threshold.

Having just landed a pepsi, I may need to re evaluate when my renewal comes up, to see if anyone will increase the total alue threshold.

Interested to hear others experience.

Cheers
