in my NYC days the Old Homestead was my favorite, even more than Luger's, Smith & Wollensky, The Palm or Sparks. My father's fave was Gallagher's.

Hall's Chophouse (4 locations in South Carolina) is right up there with any of the elites

Anyone a member of first light steal club? I actually just signed up after some deliberation. I gravitate toward the new york strip so I'm interested in being forced to try different cuts (even though March is a new york strip ).

I prefer to grill my own filets.

But, from an overall experience standpoint, I’ve been happy with Kevin Rathbun steak and Bones.

This was this past Sunday.
