More accurate? My experience with Omega hasn’t been good — my SMP300GMT was +7. I’ve looked at a couple and I’ve noticed a lot of back-slap in the hands when you pull out the crown to adjust. I’ve always been turned off by this. That said, I’ve always quite liked the PO — I looked at a titanium version in Oslo Airport, but decided not to because of the backslap and the blue face. Might have been different we’re it back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you wanted a GMT which isn't a Rolex...
I’m a bit of a gmt groupie, to be honest. I use them daily, so the second time zone is important for me.
I’ve tried quite a few models: the SMP300GMT wasn’t my favourite, though it was a reasonable beater. I’ve tried the BBGMT, but the balance is off because it’s too heavy and the blue on the bezel is black in most lights (the coke is my least favourite iteration). Read my review here: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=626377 I’ve tried a Pan, but they don’t look good on my wrist and I’m not fond of straps. I love the explorer, but haven’t owned one because they’re a bit too tooly for me and I do like something a bit pretty. I really like the Bremont — my most accurate automatic wristwatch. I own the ALT1-ZT/BK, which I like a lot and feels good on the wrist. I don’t know why Bremont get a bad rap — their products are excellent. My only gripe is that they don’t make a bracelet which is case hardened like their cases, so a steel bracelet looks a bit off in terms of colour. Being a bracket guy, this is a big gig for me — but on a NATO, the watch is boss. I moved back to Rolex because I’m not a strap guy — and as much as I like the watch itself, the lack of bracelet is a deal breaker. For a cheaper option, I’m really toying now with the new Christopher Ward honorific to the Enicar Sherpa — what they call the C65 Worldtimer. I think it’s a stunning watch (though the Enicar Sherpa itself is one watch I’ve always had on my radar). The only downside to the CW (from what I can tell) is the Selita movement — I wish they’d have put in the chronometer version that they fit into their Elite range. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Nomos Zurich Weltzeit is a fantstic GMT and is my "Go To" watch for travel. Its finishing is fantastic and rivals watches 3x it's cost. People call it a world time, but really it displays two time zones (just in a stunning way).

If only it weren’t a house brick! Their smaller gmt models are better, but they’ve only a fixed bezel. I don’t know why manufacturers only rack out functional GMTs at the 44-45mm range! 40mm is a good size and GS could make their stuff at a smaller size. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I recently got this Grand Seiko. Positives: Very affordable for the quality. Quality off charts for price Subtle for travel Not so expensive that I am “too” worried about it Perfect size - 39mm Never seen another in the flesh (Ireland) Negatives: Quartz Not as flash (prestigious outside watch community) as Rolex. Given that your budget is up to €10k - I would look at the Omega. That being said - if I really wanted a Rolex is wait and pay the price. It's only expensive the first time you wear it when it's the one you want. The one you don't want is always a waste of money Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You can consider Patek GMT ref 5034 (pic in Rose Gold) or 5134 (white gold)

Norqain Freedom 60 GMT. Same movement as in the BB GMT. Super cool watch. I am shopping for a GMT as well and it is on my short list.
