Paul and Shark do some superb jackets. A less expensive option would be Fjallraven. Never been disappointed with clothing I’ve bought from either brand.

Have a look at Herno!

Much less hype than Moncler, better price and quality. Have a couple and love them.

Quick update and thanks for input.

Ended up buying two quilted Cole Haan jackets as “runabouts” and an Overland shearling coat that was just delivered.

Thanks for the input on Overland - very happy!

I have a blue PM Norfok, size XL that I like. I'm 6'2", 220, soft around the edges. It fits me well and looks nice.

Edit: I didn't get to the second page and see the OP found something. I'll leave my comment here for anyone else looking for something similar.

Went with the Overland suggestion. Not really a light winter - more medium (and can handle cold). Also added a couple Cole Haans to round out my options.

Really appreciate the Overland recommendation. Seems well made and it has done well in pretty cold temps.

That’s a very nice looking coat on you OP! I love my Cole Haan shoes. I learned 2 new things here: I didn’t realize CH sells jackets and they’re also owned by Nike.
