2017 Lvc trade with 2013 daytona steel and gold

So do you guys think its a good trade for me if i trade my 2017 LVc for a two tone white steel daytona 2013? Straight trade.. how much are the steel and gold daytonas now?
Please include your reasons. I dont have much knowledge on daytonas.

Thank you.

If you love the Daytona, why not? I believe they are around the same price on the second hand market. Personally, two tones aren't for me

Not a fan of the TT Daytona, but if you like it I think it’s a good trade. I think the TT with the white dial looks feminine. Definitely would keep the sub if it’s going to be a watch worn every day.

Personally I wouldn't. The LVc is very hard to get now and a 2 tone rolex is generally a slower mover. That said, if you don't love the LVc and aren't wearing it you can get maximum trade value right now. I would just make sure if you decide to trade, it's for something you really really want.

The TT daytona is a much nicer abd more classy watch, its also worth more so if similar condition I would get the Daytona.
That white dial is one of the the least desirable TT daytona dials but still looks nice. A blue racing dial on it looks stunning.

It isn’t a trade I would make, but if you like the TT Daytona better, why not?

It’s a very tough call for anyone other than you to make.

If you love the TT Daytona than the answer is yes. For me, I would not make that trade at all. The LVC is one of the nicest Rolex professional series out there, and I am also a huge fan of Rolex sunburst dials. I’m also partial to divers, so to me it’s a no brainer ...

Whatever you decide, make sure you’re absolutely happy.

I don’t like the green so I would personally do that trade. TT isn’t my favorite either, but hey it’s a Daytona!

Personally I wouldn’t because I love my LVc and I’m just not a fan of the TT Daytona unless it was the panda racing dial.

You will be trading one of the hardest to get model to a model that every AD will try to sell to you when you ask for a SS Daytona.

PM Daytona can be purchased on the spot at most ADs. The waiting list (if they even have one) for the Hulk is like 3 years long at the ADs these days.

The Lvc will hold its value much better but I have the same TT Daytona and it subjectively wears larger than the SS model, maybe it's the gold. My wife bought it for me for our wedding.

Both can be worn daily but SS is good in anything you wear! Good luck on your decision.

The LVc is very hot right now and will be hard to get back so be very sure. In UK the premium is already at 40% just so you know what's probably coming worldwide.

If you like the Daytona, why not just add it?

If you do decide to flip, I would wait until Basel to see if anything's happening with the sub line.

I think you’d be trading down, from a rarity, value, and future value standpoint.

I’m a big fan of the TT Daytona, and not a fan of the Hulk, so I’ll say go for it

The TT Daytona is worth more right now especially since it’s a more recent example with the latest clasp but still with the older bezel (probably 2008-2016) but the Hulk will probably surpass it within a decade if not much sooner. They are and will always be available while this version of the LV will not so you made the right choice unless you really wanted a TT Daytona and preferred wearing that watch over the LV.
