Rolex BLNR on RubberB

Well after receiving the strap last week, and the burgeon tool, I managed to change the rubber strap on my Tudor Pelogas, as that is what i brought it with, too the bracelet, was a little tricky, but then found that the bracelet needed sizing.
So a visit to my Ad was in order,
Now as it was a little tricky for me, I decided to take the BLNR and strap with me to the dealer to see if they would change it for me.
After doing the tudor, I asked if they would mind doing the BLNR for me, "No of course not, will be a couple of minutes".
Came out a happy chappy, feels good, now do I get one for the SubLVc?? with green stripe..HHHmmmmm
Did try on the BB Blue while I was there....nice.

The blue strip on that band really sets it off and brings it all together. I like it.

Personally I would get all black instead of the blue line. It reminds me of a blue car with blue rim lol

That looks fantastic...I almost like it better on that striped RubberB than on bracelet. Very cool!

I like it, but will likely get all black for me since I want to use it for both my BLNR and LVc.

I have asked rubber b and they told me that the strap for the GMT Master II cannot be used on the submariner

Hmmm. I thought Everest bands were same for both GMT II and Sub so I assumed Rubber B would work on both.

I was also surprised by their answer.

"If you are talking about the older “non ceramic” version of both models , then yes the same Rubber B strap can be used on both watches, making sure you have the same deployment clasp on both watches (If you choose the classic series)

If you have the newer Ceramic versions then I am sorry but the Rubber B straps are not interchangeable for both models."

Thanks. I guess I’ll go with Everest after confirming that it’ll work on both. I've seen people put Sub bracelets on GMT IIs

I have the green stripe strap for my all black GMT and think it looks great! Really brings out the green of the GMT hand and the green aftermarket date wheel I had installed

I use the blue Everest strap on my BLNR, but to the statement, they don’t interchange, I put my subc bracelet on my GMT because I don’t like the PCL’s and it works fine, can not imagine the bands being different. That being said, I can believe they indicated it wasn’t interchangeable to sell a additional band. Everest says the same thing although I have used my subc band on it with no problems.

Edit:
Ok, I can see if they are talking about the deployment clasps, I use the tang versions myself. So I guess there would be a difference with the deployment clasps.

Enjoy.

thanks for comments, it does feel good, makes it seem more sporty (not that I am), think I will add another for the green sub in the near future.

Great watch but the strap doesn’t really enhance the watch. I’d personally keep the LVc on the bracelet too.
