So 24 hours with the watch and I have to say that for 47mm the model does wear very comfortable thanks to it's thinness.

It is executed perfectly and if you like black watches, this one makes a lot of sense. Not only does DLC not break (which can cost you 10,000+) bit it is also easier to dress up and down. Not quite as black and with the right strap, definitely a winner!

Happy 4th of July!

Congrats! I would have thought that the 532s would all be gone by now. I got mine in mid-December and my series number is in the mid-100s. Either the NYC boutique has been hoarding it or they aren't selling.

congrats! i think that if someone who is not on the list can walk in to boutique and come out with one, it says a lot about Panerai watch. it's no longer as desirable as before and no one wants it, obviously.

I also read the same thing about a guy who went to a boutique in Palm Beach, FL and came out with 532 without being in guest list.

try doing that 3-4 years ago, you would be lucky to come out with a SE.

Interesting thought! You know, it happened to me twice that I saw watches being sold at boutiques and regular stores that are apparently already sold out. In Switzerland you can still get on the list for the new Bronzo. Nor sure if you ever get one, but they are still trickling into the market.

Market is soft and to me that is an advantage for collectors that want a watch and not flip a watch. On Chrono24 you can buy a bunch of 532 at massively inflated prices. Same is true for the 508.

Congrats on your Risti4ever

It'll really complement your 389 & 111 - what a nice trio

EDIT: Cool box!!! I wonder if it's just for the 532 or if all SEs are now coming out in such cases ...?
