Icon5 New Chronoscope adjustable clasp: will Omega upgrade the Speedy?

The new Chronoscope features an adjustable clasp.

Why the new 3861 Speedy didn’t feature this is a mystery to me. Do you think it will get an upgrade? Or will Omega keep this for the Chronoscope?

Still looking good otherwise:

Makes no sense at all that they didn't include this on the new speedy pro. I can only imagine that an upgrade is coming, like Rolex did by later adding the glidelock on the rose gold YM clasp.

Who's to say.
With all the grief they get over the old bracelets and fitting issues, they'd be better off to make customers happier. Especially as the watch prices keep increasing - - - people expect close to to perfection in all aspects of an expensive watch. And a good, comfortable bracelet fit is a VERY important issue for buyers.

That looks like a great clasp. I hope other models get this so owners can have micro adjustments.

I do think it will be added as the standard bracelet clasp at some point. As soon as the part is available I will buy the clasp for my 3861. I also like the fact that Omega typically provides parts upon request.

Yes, it's available to order separately, but currently on a 4 to 6 week back order. The part number is 117STZ013899.

The AD confirmed with the Omega rep that it will fit the Speedy. It's the same width, but slightly longer due to the adjustable nature of the clasp. There's a good thread with lots of pics in the Omega forum on WatchUSeek.

I'm supposed to get mine sometime in November. I'll post pics once I have it installed.
