Is this watch any good?

A local place has this watch for sale and it looks like a nice piece but being a newbie I'm not sure if it is worth the $500 plus my Speedmaster Pro that he is asking for it... I've never heard of this Phil Patek guy, is he reputable? It comes with all the papers and box and he said a couple other guys were interested as well. He'll hold it for me at that price until the weekend.

Any opinions?

Wanna describe it in a bit more detail? I would say $500 for a YG DD is a damned good deal (one of those too good to be true deals). But I doubt that's what it is.

So give us a bit more info and maybe we can give you some advice.

I am gonna try to say this nicely, but you are feaking joking right? That PP would be worth about 30 speedmasters and a couple 500 dollars, assuming it is real.

I don't know if it is gullable, my point is that is a very rare and ultra ezxpensive watch. So at that price it is one of three things, a fake, stolen or a joke, plese clue me in.

I am too lazy to edit my post, but did you see how I spelled expensive? This NYQUIL is better than my drinking days, holy shinto.

LOL, that stuff is way worse than percocet man. It's mostly alcohol anyway, isn't it?

This thread does seem pretty pointless, don't you think fellas? We've gone round and round in circles over a very high-end pricey watch with no end result in sight!!

Hey guys, sorry about the lack of response I was just finalizing the deal but I played hardball and he threw in a very nice Rolex with some cool meteorite face... only another $500!
I was just surfing Ebay and could'nt believe the price on this damn thing as G pointed out above the seller has some nice items which are priced a little less dramitically.
Sorry, carry on with the hijacking!
