PAM 1068 (Blu Notte) vs 1223/2223 (Sub Bianco)

I am having a hard time choosing between 2 of these 42mm Submersibles - PAM 1068 and PAM 1223/2223. They are priced around the same on the secondary market and both watches have their respective appeal. I know it’s purely subjective but curious to see what the members here prefer. Here are photos of each watch in question.

PAM 1068 with a sunburst blue dial, ceramic bezel and steel bracelet.

I prefer the 1068 for the bracelet option and the color of blue. My AD has this watch and I have almost bought it several times. Both being 42mm I think that the 1223 looks smaller. Might have to do with the strap. Let us know what you decide.

Out of these two the blue is the one

PAM white dials are great, my choice here — but I would even step up to 44mm personally

white dial 1223 for me,it's much cheaper and you can always buy another steel bracelet for variety, which would match the white dial beautifully. I've tried on the 1068 before, the blue colour of the dial is kind of too deep for my taste, don't like it.

Appreciate the feedback, guys. Never owned a Panerai on a steel bracelet but the white seems more versatile when it comes to strap options.

I wish the white had a black ceramic bezel, I think the contrast with the white dial would look great.

Hi, I had the white dial 42mm submersible. Lovely watch, but ended up selling it.
The main issue for me is that the steel bezel doesn't give enough contrast on the dial and sometimes looks washed out.

Ugh. This looks really great. Is that a 42 or 44? I have been interested in the 42 since its release, but never have been able to see one in person. I have this feeling building up and I know it ends with me buying a 683, 682, or this Bianco 1223.

I also had the white and agree with someone who said it doesn’t provide enough contrast between the SS bezel and white dial.
I like the 1068 and size and special steel bracelet are cool.
