If it was released by AP as a limited edition, they would sell out immediately. Because it’s a mod, you’ll get no love here.

I mean the clasp is interesting, but the watch itself looks like a cheap homeage lol

Thanks for sharing tho! Something different

I am generally not a fan of the MAD Paris customized watches however the Alyx clasp is distinctive of the brand and of Matthew M Williams' designs. The clasp integration in my opinion works very well however everything else not so much.

I completely agree. Additionally, the dial of this watch is great, the clasp hideous.

I love and respect the AP heritage but am giving big props to Matthew Williams of Alyx for pulling this off. I have a cuff in the traditional Alyx design and I get way more compliments on it than any of my watches. He also designed all the buckles in Christian Dior's most recent season. I don't think it's someone's first AP, but once you've tried the OG, this could be a nice mod.

the nod to Alyx's buckle design for the clasp is pretty neat!

Yikes part of the magic of a RO is the dial. Can’t say I’m a fan of this one.

The bracelet mod is quite interesting.

As for the dial, did they simply take a grinder to one the most awesome dials ever made???
