gmt vs sub
I got the wife a Rolex for Christmas and realized that I REALLY WANTED one too.
I have always liked the TT blue sub. Went to vegas with the wife and went to a number of watch shops. Tried on the watch I liked and she did not care for it. She pointed to a Pepsi GMT and said to try that on. She liked it much better and I've got to be honest, I thought it looked great too. Plus it is cheaper! Is it possible to purchase the coke bezel as well and change between the two? |

Of course it's possible to purchase a coke bezel. Ask the AD to get you one

Yes, it is possible and highly recommended.
Like you, I like both the sub and gmt II. So, I got the sub and will have the gmt soon.

Congrats on a great watch. One of the nice things about the 16710 is the ability to change the look by simply swapping inserts.

And if you are having a hard time finding the bezels in the USA, they can be ordered from European AD's.

I say go with the GMT. You can always "upgrade" to a TT Sub later. Rolexes are addicting, so I say start with the cheapest one that smiles at you, then work your way up!
Also, and I have been away from here for awhile, but are they still making the regular GMT-II (non-ceramic bezel)? I ask because I was under the impression they stopped them with the new ceramic bezeled ones, in which case you may have only so long to buy this GMT-II brand new, whereas at this point there is no definate end to the current TT Sub. |

I was wondering and need your help if you know.....
I would like to buy original brand new bezels for my 16710 GMT (need the black one and the coke as well). Is there any reliable website from where I could buy or should I contact my local AD? |
