For what it's worth, I agree but as it's not offered no point in dwelling on it and a frankenwatch would be prohibitively expensive to put together.

in terms of pricing, according to the post:

"Prices for the Royal Oak Selfwinding are $16,900 in steel, $33,800 in 18k rose gold on a strap, and $64,800 in rose gold on a bracelet. The Chronograph is $23,900 in steel, $45,500 in 18l rose gold on a strap, and $70,800 in rose gold on a bracelet."

List was $50k. I figure the new model will be north of $70k. I may have to pick up a JLC Tourbilllon instead at that price.

Much obliged, Alexander.

Those Royal Oak tourbillons are absolutely awesome. Aesthetically, definitely an improvement on the old bumper automatic Royal Oak tourbillons. These handwind tourbillons look so much better, with the nice, sloping bridges.

That is a non-starter for a 3Hz diver on a rubber strap.

I am surprised they haven't updated their main in-house movements to 4Hz as most of the industry has.

Hi, the AP AD in Toronto is Royal De Versailles, located in downtown Toronto on Bloor Street. They are quite helpful and salesperson I talked to was passionate about watches, which is always great to see. If you want more info you can email me.

Cheers,
James

"La Swiss" in both Montreal and Vancouver also are AP AD. The one in Vancouver a few weeks ago only had blue dial 15300 available but could order in the other two colours.

This is the best looking open worked I have seen. I'm usually not a big fan of this kind of things, but what is not to love on this one?
