Rolex sea dweller James Cameron

Hi guys first post here , if not allowed please remove and apologises.
Been offered a James Cameron deep sea dweller.
It feels amazing quality even weighed it at 215g looks genuine but just not sure
Ref number is 116117 and number on rehaul is m646829.
Iv searched and it seems this number has been used on fakes. Is there anyway it can be genuine ? Few pics to help

Not the best quality pics but from these it looks off. The colors and proportions don't seem right. Any other details?

Pictures aren’t good enough strange angles instead of straight on shots. As mentioned it looks a little off

The reference number should be 116660 for that model.

The crystal, bezel, date window and end link fitment all look off compared to my 126660, I don't think that is legit

Good.
This is one to run away from. Not walk.
It's an obvious appalling fake just looking at the pics.
As Brian pointed out the reference number should be different among loads of other things.

Keep researching and definately don't rush into anything.
Get to know as much as you can about what reference you are actually looking for as the fakes can be extremely good.
This one is dodgy right from the start.

A good rule to follow is to buy the seller first and there are really good grey sellers out there that you can trust. You will possibly pay a premium through them but you will get what you are after.

Question.
Are you specifically after a James Cameron?

Don’t buy anything unless it is a highly trusted seller.

Really bad fake.

Date display awful.

And date window position would be for 13xxx model but case back and crystal not consistent with that version.

And numerous other issues.

I would think you should be able to get one from an AD without too long on a wait.

Either the all black version or SD43 can be had from an AD.

JC little longer wait.

Good luck

Why go to all the trouble to make a fake and then put the wrong model number on it? That is the easiest thing to look up, get right and a complete give away if it's wrong.

I would assume that you shouldn't have to wait too long to obtain one from an AD.
