I could Eliot. But it could take years to get from an AD.

This would be a real stunner! I agree with Art 1 on the availability if it were released.

What’s the point anymore? Rolex has lost its luster for me. Their dumb forced supply constraint to build brand cache/expand their grey dealer network/whatever has soured me on them. I’m not going to beg them to sell me an unnecessary expensive watch. If they think this makes me want one more, they are incorrect.

Can't you just source a blue bezel and put in the current sub or am I missing something here?

Yeah you can. I would say if there was some blue text that would tie it in better.

To be honest, I’m not digging it! I think it breaks the overall appearance of the sub, the black is much more refined and elegant.
But I also struggle with the Kermit for the same reason. BR Torsten |

You never know!!
My thought process tends to go in the direction of - what will make the next big splash? The Daytona was big....the stainless SkyDweller — and it’s inherent illusivity at many ADs is another — and the Stainless BLRO - definitely broke the ‘PM only’ paradigm to some degree — so maybe a stainless, Blue dial Sub is possible....maybe replace the Smurf with a Platinum Sub with the glacier blue dial.... I LOVE the red line modern reference - but with being right on the heels of the 50th SD — maybe not yet... We’ll see. I could definitely see a Coke GMT appearing...and maybe a few mor me OysterFlex options... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’ve never understood the great excitement over a simple bezel color change or addition.

I’d rather see the PM strap Daytona’s get bracelets. If they change the sub I want new lugs.

I'm not a fan of nicknames in general. That aside, as I understand it, a Batman is a black-and-blue bezel on a black dial. A Blueberry is an all-blue bezel on a black dial. Both names apply/applied to GMT models, but I don't see why a blue-on-black Sub couldn't also be considered a Blueberry. I mean, if we can call the latest RG/TT GMTs Root Beers when they barely resemble the original, why not?

This is known as the Shark when modded so I'm not sure Rolex would then make a genuine version, I think they will keep bezel and dial the same colour on the CE subs. Now I think it's more likely they make a Plat sub than SS with ice or sunburst blue dial.
