I have absolutely no issue with grey market dealers. I have chosen to steer clear of Rolex SS sport models. If I wanted one, I would decide if I was willing to pay the price. As the saying goes, you need to pay to play. Now, the reality is that the vast majority of people (including myself) who buy from grey market dealers SAVE a lot of $$$$. Just not with certain models. Quick example: I recently purchased a limited edition at a brand boutique in NYC. Put it on my wrist, fell in love then paid retail. My choice. Literally 3-4 days later, same watch from trusted dealer I and many of you have purchased from puts up the same watch, like new, on his website $3,200 lower than what I paid. If you include the tax it was almost 4K cheaper. If your not into certain Rolexes, Pateks etc., the greys will almost always save you money.
