patek phillipe - important question

GOOD MORNING EVERY ONE,

I AM CONSIDERING INVESTING INTO A VINTAGE 16-250 PATEK WATCH , IT IS A LADY'S SIZE (25 MM) BUT I WONDERED ABOUT THE FOLLOWING ISSUES:

- WHEN WAS THE CALIBER FIRST INTRIDUCED ?

- IS IT A SOPHISTICATED WATCH COMAPRE TO OTHER CALIBERS ?

- WHAT SHOULD BE A GOOD PRICE FOR THE WATCH ?

I WOULD BE GRATEFUL FOR ALL YOUR ANSWERS ! THANK YOU ALL !

That's the caliber number you're referring to, not an actual watch reference (model). This means it's the designation for a type of movement.

I don't know how long it's been in production for, but I'm pretty sure it's been a while. It's the standard movement for Patek ladies' manual wind watches (not many models of those). There's also a complication based on this movement, which is a moonphase display.

Price wise, it's hard to say without an actual reference number for the type of watch you're referring to.
