Incoming! 5712/1a

Being a Rolex man my short adult life I (once seeing a customer with one) fell in love with the PP 5712.

After putting my name down 2 years ago as a light enquiry/pipe dream thinking I would never get one or would be 4 years down the list; I got the call.

Last Saturday, severely hungover; I got the most surprising call from my Local AD that my 5712/1A-001 had arrived... “do I want it?” Was the question that followed. “OF COURSE” was my rather abrupt and excited answer.

5 days later with money moved and 1 piece sold (BLNR). I collected my new 5712/1A...

Wow; what a stunning watch. It’s now my only piece, which worries me, but not enough. I don’t have the capital to keep anything else due to the price but I’m so glad I have it.

5980 next...

Thanks.

C.

Congrats Chris! That's a beaut. If I was stuck only having one watch, I certainly wouldn't mind it being a 5712!

Stunning piece. Congrats and way to give hope for the rest of us. I am one year in for the 5711 and expect two more years. But maybe not... there is hope now.

If you're going to have only one, that's a good one to have.

Same could be said for the BLNR. Rolex much easier to get in the future most likely so you can always replace it if you feel like it.
