People on this forum demand constant changes. They want the sub changed, they want the milgauss changed, this and that, every year. Then they complain.

Here we are.

Everyone has a phone in their pocket these days which has an auto-corrected world time minute repeater alarm blah blah blah...

Nobody needs any of these watches as tools, divers don't need them as there are far better actual tools for that job (dive computers). Let's face it, they're relics/jewelry in terms of "need to know information".

Well, they want new models every two years, but nothing is actually allowed to change. Sooo...

Rolex has not been a tool watch maker in decades. You’re only now figuring this out?

Have you read any complaints to change? Surely not. Well, do not generalize.
Also, I prefer the 4 and 5 digit references

I guess I still don’t understand the quickness to hate something that isn’t made for you or that has a different target market. I find it weird

Well, the 4 and 5 digit references are still out there for your buying pleasure. Meanwhile, Rolex has to keep moving on and ensuring that they appeal to the current market. Mechanical watches are long past the point of being relevant, that’s why they (Rolex) are making sure they are also firmly entrenched in the jewelry market as well. Very few people are honestly buying rolexes to tell the time. That’s not needed anymore.

You’re correct. Nothing that Rolex does to the next Submariner will satisfy the mob. Some want smaller, some want bigger. Some want blocky, some was tapered. You can’t please everyone but it seems fewer and fewer comprehended that.

If you prefer 4 and 5 diget then why are you complaining about Basel???

So if it appeals to some, they must be the bottom of the barrel people as you've stated? I guess I should become one of "those".

Stupid statement.

Because it is a forum to debate and I do not agree with the direction that Rolex has taken for years. I think it's not bad to think differently and say what you do not like.
Do not you think?

Lol that’s so true.

The notion of referring to a $10k watch as the “tool watch” is just about as genuine as calling a $70k GMC Sierra 1500 Denali the “working man’s truck.”

Why the defensive attitude...?? Maybe you suffer from mental issues...? If so, I apologize and wish you a rapid recovery.

My post has nothing to do with Rolex. It's a simple observation. I'm certain that if such profile existed we all would read it with interest.

For the time being, I believe a chill pill might help you out. Or else, no need to act as a gilipollas.

Yeah, the OP is definitely worked up over this. It's actually quite comical. It seems that a TT SeaDweller is really upsetting to him. He responds to every single comment, and yet accuses others of not having an open mind. I guess if we don't agree with him we don't have an open mind. Ironic right?

More sad than ironic. Just people taking something trivial way too seriously. That guy lives in the Canary Islands. He ought to be out enjoying the sun.

Hey, thanks for writing. Enjoy your day...!!!

to a WIS the watch doesnt make sense. As a watch its very nice. thats the disconnect.

If i wanted a TT watch, i would buy it. I would let the fact its a sea dweller slide

we need to get over the idea that Rolex makes watches for us. they dont

His 4 and 5 digit references still exist, the all SS SD43 does, and even the 40mm ceramic SD. He should be fine, and can leave the TT SD43 abomination to the rest of us car salesmen.

Jaja jaja.
Do not you like to be answered? You are impolite.
You do not represent the Basques, fortunately.

Howdy,

Can't say that it bothers me in the least. How is this different than any other precious metal sports model? I don't remember the outrage over the Smurf or the white gold Pepsi.

Take care,

Ruddiger

I also do not understand those references, but I understand the SD less.
