Which would you choose: ROO 44 26401Rose Gold vs Platinum

I am completely torn if I should buy the ROO 26401 in Rose Gold or Platinum.

The 26401 rose gold would be the new dial and NIB.

The 26401 in platinum would be a used 2018 all books etc.

Both are basically the same price, $2K more for the 26401 Platinum.

I like heavy watches and have a 7.5" wrist. Most of my watches are stainless, I bought a new 15400 with the Ruth dial last week but I don't love it(found in the AP salon in Milan).

Thanks!

Just 2K more? No brainer. Go Platinum.. esp if you can take the weight and like heavy watches. That said, make sure you are ok with the look which resembles SS.

Thanks the weight is not an issue for me. Do you say its a no brainer because of the cost of the platinum vs the Rose gold, future resale?

But, your right it resembles SS/WG but I'm fine with that.

Go platinum, I have it, so but be advised it’s heavy.
DavidSW has one on sale right now at his website that is a better price than his forum post.
It’s a good price

I prefer the look of RG, but 2K is an attractive proposition, but go for the one you like the most as always.

Yes saw his, but surprisingly the one I am being offered by my dealer is cheaper(he just wants to move it). He says the demand is for the Rose Gold.

I concur.

I am surprised with the resale value of the platinum, but it is very nice. I like the weight.

Rose gold is far more stunning in my opinion, for this reference. if we were talking platinum watch on a bracelet, then id go the platty, but the RG is perfect for getting a gold piece without the crazy flash of all RG bracelet

I like silver-toned metals. Had a platinum Daytona for a few years and now have a WG blue Sub. As soon as I put a PM Rolex on I don't notice the weight. I like PM.

The RG was my favorite of all the novelties I owned. I personally prefer the look of RG and agree with the demand comment from your dealer. The Platty is only a good value if you happened to want the plat to begin with.
