Blue dial white gold GMT picture request. Here they are.

Jeffreyc87 requested more pictures of my blue dial white gold GMT so here goes.

I took most of these pictures when I first picked the piece up. It was born with a blue dial (not a swap out).

The blue dial varies in tone depending on the light. Definitely up there in my top five fave watches I own.

Direct sunlight on the dial really makes the blue pop.

Dial almost looks black here.

For comparison black dial GMT

And a recently purchased (like new) older school GMT

Hands down I think the blue dial, white gold is the best option in GMT watches. What's your favorite?

Great pics. It seems like you have a slight GMT addiction (as do I) You've got just about every desirable modern GMT out there (save for the Tudor).
I was lucky enough to have seen and tried the blue dial GMT at an AD. It is indeed a lovely watch and the blue dial has a matte aspect to it that changes in different lighting that gives it a unique aesthetic. The weight of the gold on the wrist is also quite impressive.

Hats off on having built such a nice collection!

Thanks guys.
Out of my GMT’s, the Batman gets the most wear but not because it’s my favourite.

In order of my GMT favourites,
1) WG blue dial GMT
2) Full rosegold Rootbeer
3) Stick dial Pepsi (charming watch)
4) Coke T dial GMT
5) 2018 SS GMT
6) Batman

I think this Rolex made a great choice with the blue dial to distinguish this version from the steel Pepsi.

So it's safe to assume you may like GMTs a little.

If I were asked to rank them, I think I would be exactly in the same order you specified. WG blue is incredible as are they all. For special occasions, I think I’d be wearing WG Pepsi in summer and RG Rootbeer in the winter.

As an aside, what are the black “louvers” in a couple of the WG Pepsi pics? Almost looks like a supercar hood or side vents like in 911 GT2 RS.

Beautiful pics, can’t wait for mine. Hopefully soon.

SS Oyester - Seeing WG Blue dial number 1 on your list is just confirmation I made the right choice. And nice collection by the way

So you wear your least favorite watch the most? Is that so the other get less wear and tear? I would love to have a Batman as my beater watch

I just acquired a stick dial Pepsi myself. Its a D serial so it should be the first generation of this variant. Although the stick dial has had its share of debate around here, I think it does add a little something from a collector's point of view. Interesting that you ranked it as the best stainless steel variant. For me, it is the ultimate GMT package. Just love how the bezel colors pop, the slender lugs meet the bracelet, and the understated dial and hands. Sporty and elegant at the same time with what I consider to be a most useful complication. A true classic and quintessential Rolex.

But that blue dial GMT is now calling to me. Damn you Eric!

Nice pics, great collection. But me too, confused: why wear the most your least favorite?

Really liking that subdued blue dial, looks fantastic, it's a nice change from the black dial.
