Thank you everyone very happy with it! I think it wears nicer than the submariner or maybe because it feels slightly lighter in weight.

So last night around 5pm I’m outside cooking a BBQ and get a call from the local Rolex Boutique letting me know that they have just received my BLNR and when did I want to pick it up! I was in absolute shock! Firstly because I’ve enquired on this piece at the start of the year with all 3 boutiques and authorised dealers and only to be basically laughed at and told they were impossible to get and there was a 3+ year wait.

I went into this Rolex Boutique only back in August wearing my subC just browsing and having a chat with the staff and trying on a couple datejusts and told them I really want a Batman, they obviously told me they’re very hard to get and only go to there previous customers (me not a previous customer). Anyway from August until yesterday I’ve made several visits there just browsing the stock and building rapport with them.

Cut the long story short, I consider myself very lucky getting the call at 5pm, I was there at 7:30pm collecting the watch. Over the moon with the watch, when I got home I realised they mangled a couple screw heads, but hey I can’t complain and I’m sure it will get more scars haha

Will upload photos when I get on my laptop, phone is saying size to big.
Perhaps you can confirm to the conspiracy theorists on here that the letter (memo) from Rolex was true that they:
1. Removed stickers
2. Sized the bracelet
3. Didn't give you a plastic coffin
4. Wrote your name on the card or XXXX (depending on your preference)

That should nail the "coffin" shut...Anyone who says the letter was a fake clearly has no clue or havent been down to their local AD recently.

Congrats on your purchase

I picked up my Rolex brand new from the Rolex Boutique in Australia on Friday 16/11/18 and they

1. Removed nearly every sticker on it (there’s a couple small ones they missed but majority off including clasp etc)
2. Sized the bracelet (removes 1 link and butchered 3 screws lol)
3. Did not receive the plastic coffin, maybe if I asked they might’ve?
4. They wrote my full name on the card but my home address was Optional (I only put my name)

Thank you very much haven’t taken it off yet, love it
