Well. I’m ocd. A tiny tiny nick at the polished/brushed junction kept catching light, and since it was brand new I got obsessed with it (think I just knocked it against a table at dinner). Soooooo, I messed with it. Than that looked bad, and messed with it more. Than here we are. So yes and no. It’s steel, it’ll mark, but if you just are careful and don’t do dumb things like me you’ll be fine.

Which is why I couldn't wait to get rid of my 15400. Beautiful watch but you looked at it the wrong way it would scratch. And while most Rolexes look fine with some blemishes, APs do not. It's the main reason I'll never buy another one again. It literally went from winder to under my shirt sleeve and if I wore a short sleeve shirt it stayed at home.
