Is it safe to wear your Rolex driving an exotic car? (steering wheel vibration)

I noticed after driving my old beater Ferrari that there is some considerable vibration with sport mode on and hitting bumps....Now my watch is running 2 seconds slow after a 20 days.

Is this dangerous to the movement?
Should I send it in for service?
And should I have them polish it at service or will this affect the value?

If you're bored, have a few minutes, and curious to join me on a Texas drive, here's a video of the damage done to the watch during San Antonio cars & coffee and an Alamo City Ferrari club drive.

Have I got this right your watch is running 2 seconds slow after 20 days.

If so the Yes send it in immediately that's whole 0.1 seconds a day deviation which is totally unacceptable on a mechanical timepiece.

Everyone knows it's not safe to wear a Rolex and drive a car, especially your beater Ferrari, noob.

Dude, your ‘beater’ is the wrong colour. Everyone knows that Fezzas should be Rosso Corsa.

It's probably the Ferrari that needs to go in for a service to minimize the vibrations

I sure hope it’s safe! I’ve been living on the edge of it is dangerous

PS: not my cars. In Hollywood there is a place you can rent exotics for a $110 for 30 minutes of utopia

Hi,

Safe to drive any car. Safe to let RSC polish during a routine service.

Words "beater" and Ferrari really, really don't belong in the same sentence. As for the vibration, have the wheels balanced by a competent shop, problem should be solved. Also, Sport Mode stiffens the suspension settings and magnifies any tendency for bump steer. Have the suspension bushings and settings checked as well.
As for the watch, enjoy it. What you're doing won't hurt it at all.

Nothing to worry about with a little vibration.. those movements can handle much more than that.

Would have expected a Ferrari owner to be wearing a Platona
