I think I am in love with a perpetual
So here I am minding my own business in the grill room and notice in the corner of my eye someone wearing a Royal Oak. Well of course I need to investigate and walk over. This gent usually is wearing a Daytona, he has two. We know each other and have no issues to discuss what’s on our wrists. He has a blue dial perpetual on and I ask to take a look. Now I didn’t have my readers with me and the light isn’t great but I can’t get this reference off my mind. So my AP friends, what do you guys think of this watch? Is it worth pursuing? I own about 15 watches and two Royal Oaks. 15407 and a 15400, both steel.

Love the watch and literally just purchased mine on Friday from the boutique. It's the first AP to join my collection and I was fortunate to find it at the boutique in stainless with blue.

I personally find the blue dial a little hard to read - my opinion.
But love the perpetual

Amazing watch.
Just wish they’d get rid of the central hand for the week, kinda useless and clutters an already busy dial.

It is a hell of a watch. I would not hesitate to shift the 15400 and replace it with this in blue.

Totally in love with the blue PC. I am thinking about getting it is Rose Gold though. Have steel pieces already inc the 15407. Pics of me trying it on at AP below. Keep thinking about it

It's a beautiful watch for sure. The PM versions are available for pretty meaningful discounts on the grey market. Black ceramic sold out long ago.
Also, I love the week hand. Very easy to see approximately what % of the year has passed....and many of my Euro colleagues use week numbers when talking about future business events.
