Insurance for Rolex for UK residents
Can anyone recommend a specialist insurance outfit for Rolex and other high end stuff for people living in the UK? Our home insurance expires in a few weeks so I want to insure our watches and Mrs Van D's rings separately.
Jewelers Mutual, which most members here swear by, only seems to cover North America

Thanks for that
£745 for a Daytona, Sub and Mrs Van D's Lady DJ and her engagement, wedding and eternity rings sounds very expensive, so I guess we'll keep looking.

Mine are added to my Property Insurance with "Home and Legacy". A BLNR was £26.19p to be added to my Building and Contents Insurance.

AXA have a very very good home insurance policy. We recently had to make a claim as we were burgled. The policy had no shitty get outs. We left a window open had no special locks on the doors / windows and they paid out with no quibbles.
The basis single item value for each item was relatively high (I think about £7,500) and that covers all of our valuable items inc my Rolex). You might have to pay a supplement for any single items greater than that. Check them out. |

I added mine to my Aviva contents for next to nothing. Also covers away from the home and abroad. Home and contents was really good value once you haggle a bit.....
