Possibility of bundling a 5164

First time posting here. Is 5164 comparatively an easier watch to bundle than the Nautiluses? Saw a post yesterday than an AC bundle couldn’t get a member 5712r. 5164 has probably the lowest premium over retail among Patek sports watches. So I was wondering whether I should go the grey route or approach an AD with a bundle offer (AC range second price). This will be my first Patek purchase. Thank you for your advice.

Doesn’t hurt to ask. But I’d be betting your best bet is grey

You probably have to spend more than $100k to be able to ask for any sport model.

You have a better chance of getting the 5712R......

Nautilus 5712R on leather strap are easier to get than any SS Aquanaut line....

Current Patek hottest watches since the announcement of the Nautilus 5711/1a discontinued.....

According to my AD sources that people ask for the most......

1. 5167a or 5167/1a
2. 5712/1a
3. 5726/1a
4. 5164a
5. 5168a

5168a is not a real reference. It’s a white gold piece

Also, I think some of the most popular asks are the 5968a, 5711/1r and 5980/1r

Opps.... Typo error.....

Thanks for pointing it out.....

#5. should be 5968a..... Instead 5168a

5711/1r & 5980/1r are popular but not the hottest top 5 list.....

It really depends on your AD (how they handle this, where the AD is located, how much spend their good customers do, etc).

I tried (not too forcefully) at an AD and couldn’t get one, spend was $150k (and was having the discussion while agreeing to spend $90k on a piece, so previous spend was $60k). Admittedly, I didn’t push too much, mostly just asked for what options they had and he just said he’ll look into it but would be tough and no guarantees, I know I could have pushed there but it wasn’t the most important piece I want (and honestly the thought of spending even more money scared me).

No point buying several watches to get the 5164 unless you really want them too and also have plans to acquire more afterwards via same AD.
Gray would be the option for only 5164 and the premium isn’t ridiculous vs. nautilus hype / craze.
