Stolen 3800P, Case 2.864.921, Movement 1.425.131

Hi,

I hope it is ok to share this with you?!

A Patek 3800 P was stolen in Switzerland on Friday, 23 August.

Case no. 2.864.921
Movement no. 1.425.131

w/o dots:
Case no. 2864921
Movement no. 1425131

This was not my watch, but we are discussion this matter in a German watch forum. The owner agreed to spread serial numbers worldwide just to make sure they can be found via Google etc.

I could imagine that being a hard sell on the secondary market. Cant just find some watch maker to fix a patek.

What an amazing watch!

Hope owner gets it back. I could imagine it having a lot of sentimental value.
