Seiko 6119-6400 Underrated gem?

I really want to add one of these to my (minimalist) Seiko collection. I find the internal bezel and over all robust appearance (sometimes called the UFO). I have never tried one in person, for anyone that has one or tried it on, I am open to opinions. (Pictures are not mine).

Thanks

I have something similar - a 6106-7170 if I remember correctly. It sits nice and snug on the wrist and is very comfortable.

That's a nice one, Paul. Certainly worth adding to your connection.

I also really like the version Tritto posted above this. Vintage Seiko's are incredibly appealing.

I recommend any 6119. I’m somewhat of a 6119 collector and restorer. It’s a rock solid movement, and Seiko made tons of different designs over the years. Get it and enjoy!

I was at the Little Watch Shop in Houston to have minor work done on one of my watches. The owner of the shop had one on his wrist and I could not stop looking at it. The bracelet, case, and dial combination is very unique. Thanks for posting OP
