Incoming Ceramic Code Chrono

As a huge fan of the entire CODE line, this was the model I was most looking forward to acquiring. The dial and movement are fantastic and a ceramic case AP is always special. This will be my new daily wearer as it's super comfortable and I actually feel comfortable wearing it out and about. IYKYK!

Excellent! It's been a while since the last 'incoming' post for this!

This is at the top of my list, if the opportunity arises.
Congratulations to you! 🎉
It’s reassuring that you expect to wear it regularly. Please post a wrist shot when you can. Is it true that this Code (like the QP) is also a bit of a wait to receive, as I believe some have commented on the forum?
I don’t see it at same level as the QP given the complications and dial. So perhaps it is that this Code is relatively lower production due to the ceramic case? I don’t know if this is the case. Regardless, enjoy yours immensely!

There were claims last year that AP found the yield for the Ceramic cases to be a challenge, although my boutique didn’t offer confirmation.

Thanks all!

My boutique receives one each of the white and rose gold ceramic Code chronographs per quarter, not sure about the QPs. There is definitely more to come for this line with different metal and bracelet options. Can't wait to see what they have in store!

That's a handsome watch. Didn't know they made a ceramic mid case

Went in to pick up a link and walked out with this one. But my SA knew I was interested in this model.

Technically the whole case is ceramic. Then the bezel, lugs, and caseback are white gold. I guess we can call it two-tone

I believe one of the strengths of this impressive piece is that it can fly under the radar without drawing attention, even though it’s a heavyweight of a watch. I do still think that the metal portions have an interesting ’glow’ that I haven’t noticed on other white gold watches…but then again, AP is a master of materials. I look forward to seeing this in person someday.

Yes! I think this is highly underrated as not many people have seen it in person. Huge congrats to OP for getting this Code! I also heard this is a boutique allocation and there have been very few pieces allocated so far. Really excited to see new combos come out for the Code line of watches but this is definitely a RO year based on all the incomings.

Totally agree, its unique in its hue and brilliance. Love this aspect of my Code and was just thinking about it the other day. I want to say I read something about it's make-up, but can't remember if that's reality or my faulty memory.

Awesome piece! Been trying to get one of these for months and so hard to get an allocation.
