I'm still waiting on my Daytona, but I got to borrow my friends for about two weeks. I had it on Everest rubber for a couple of those days because I didn't want to beat up his bracelet

Looking good!

Another option to consider is one of the Hirsch performance straps. They look like leather, but are rubber underneath, and I've enjoyed them even more than my RubberB and Everest, and they're much less expensive.

Of course, they don't have that integrated lug look, if that's your thing.

I'm interested! I assume there's no way to use the original clasp though right?

Once you go Deploy...

Yeah, I actually prefer pin buckle, and that’s the only option for the Hirsch Performance models. Both my RubberB and Everest were buckles, too.

I just checked them out. Those look like some killer straps! I might pick up one and just see where it lands lol. I really like the look.

Hey, may as well! I’d hate to see the amount of money spent on straps/bracelets between the two of us over the years.

My favorite is the Hirsch James, although the Daytona might look good on something sportier.

Man all these Daytona on rubber bands look awesome. Woke up today like any other day and never even thought about this. Then hop on TRF for 5 minutes to take a break from work email and just dropped $240 for a RubberB...amazing how peer pressure works.

$270 each / $540 for the pair if your AD can get it for you.

What do you mean by “the pair”. Are you saying that each side of the strap costs $270? I’ve never heard of straps being sold that way.

Yes, they are sold individually, around £220 per side in the UK

But what about the end links? Do they come with the oyster flex? Does Rolex have two tone end links for the ouster flex. I want to install on my 116523 Daytona.

Rolex do not sell or supply end links, one of your best solutions would be from George at Smarty End Links, he’s also a member here on TRF

http://www.smartyendlinks.com/

They’re around $80 a pair, for stainless steel, shipped from Singapore, if I remember correctly.

Yes, each side is sold separately because it is sized different depending on your wrist size.

Has anyone put a rubber strap on their Steel C Daytona?

I knew Chad posted earlier but here is is excellent post for a Daytona C, Oysterflex and end links

https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=582111

He actually convinced me to get them for my sub. I actually had a problem with the sub c ones George sent and his customer service was outstanding. I found out the Daytona ones would fit the Sub C. He even brushed them so they were not polished center links. They just came in last week.

Here are some pics. My iPhone does not give it justice. Color looks off but I can tell you it’s identical. Also angle makes them look off, but they are almost 100% perfect fit.
