Under the Radar?

With the Patek market being so hot right now which pieces if any do you feel are undervalued? Perhaps some of the discontinued calatrava models?

Neptune 5085 - Steel piece on bracelet, 240 micro rotor movement predating Nautilus 3712/5712.

Superb on the wrist.

5146 is a lot for the money if bought pre owned.

Pure speculation:

3940J - The entry price for a Patek perpetual is quite low if you can live with the smaller size case

5130P - Beautiful piece with signature Patek complication in a platinum case

I would agree with the 5146 being an amazing value.

Under the Radar?

I still think the black dial 5205R is a great buy. Packs a big punch for its price, discount probably still on offer from ADs, certainly at greys.

I think many of the A/C pieces such as the 5146, 5205 if bought correctly offers a lot of bang for the buck.

5960A - the most complicated stainless steel Patek which was in regular production which still can be bought from an AD with a decent discount.

5235G - annual calendar, regulator style dial and new movement goes for less than a 5711A in the secondary market.

Undervalued? I vote for 5146g/r, 5170g, and 3940p/g....the latter comes with a bit of an issue as it's a hunt for a great example.

Agree with ACs and 5960a if bought right, also the out of favor smaller dialed Calatravas 5116, 5119, 5120 which are bargains for the smaller wrists.

I think so too. For sports the 5164 in many countries is still a great buy at retail or close to it, UK premiums are still growing, now up to £6K.

Try to find a 3939H they should be about a 180000.

Pre-owned 5146G. Great value now and an excellent daily wear...

3940 is one of the most underrated refs and a 5960 in steel from the grey market is a bargain
