Hand made pen case for my Platinum Izumo Urushi

Over the summer I began work on a pair of new items for protecting some of my favourite things.

One being this case for my pen.

It’s a dual layer construction, with hard protective scales on the outside and soft cushioning on the inside.

Very pleased with how it’s turned out. Will decide over the next few weeks if I blacken the exposed edges, or leave the white part showing.

Also for interest, this is my watch pouch using a similar method but different outer leather.
