2 questions for my panerai pros in here..

Little help guys as I’m not as versed in panerai as other brands. Aside from being very familiar with all the references and knowing which have in house movements, I was told an easy way to tell is if it’s got the reg tm on the crown guard? Wondering if that’s true, also wondering if the model is a power reserve is that an automatic or a manual wind? Thanks for the help.

Afaik the “reg tm” on crown guard are stamped on Luminor with 1950 cases.

I don’t think it determines “in-house movement” nor “automatic/manual”

As stated above, reg TM associated with 1950 case.
There are models with in-house and ETA based movement,
and both manual wind and automatic

Thank you for the answers, a better question I suppose if what model fits what I’m looking for. I had a panerai a bunch of years ago but fell out of touch with them. I’m looking for 44mm, black dial automatic, with or without date so I’m going fairly basic. I want to be able to go rubber strap, what’s my best bet aside from the 1312? Thanks

↑ He said he wants an 'automatic'. The 111 is manual hand wind.
