New Explorer thickness?

Anyone know the thickness of the new 2021 Explorer I?

I saw a picture online where someone measured it with a digital caliper and got 11.6 mm.

The previous 39mm Explorer was 11.2mm thick.

The 2020 OP41 is 11.7mm thick.

Would be disappointed if the new Explorer at 36mm is 11.6mm.

Think I found the video you’re talking about. 11.6mm it is....

With a 35.5mm diameter case.

Very surprised

That’s a very very minor and imperceptible difference in thickness. Not sure why, maybe the Calibre 3230 is slightly thicker, now it’s in smaller case watches, it’s more noticeable.

The 39mm Explorer is 12mm thick.

Thanks for that correction. Seems like it is 12mm. Watchbox said 11.2mm. Weird

Enough with the misinformation. It's exactly 11mm.

If the 36 is indeed 11.5mm thick, that will be very noticeable with such a small diameter...

Checked my 39mm MkII before and I got 11mm as well.

Thanks. Was surprised that watch box would be wrong, though saw 12mm in a variety of other places.

My exact disappointment... 36mm at 11.5mm thick. More noticeable on a smaller diameter

And I quite like the idea of the chubby cased 124270 too!

214270 Mk 1 was accused of having "short hands". The new Explorer is "fat".

0.5mm difference but on a smaller surface. Hard to say how the real world feel will vary without trying them on but clearly not a desirable change. Guess this is consequence of new 3200 series movement

I'm really interested in getting the weight with say 12 bracelet links.

I read the 39mm 214270 was 12mm and decided to check..

Then did a search here and 11.2mm

Now I'm measuring all my collection case thicknesses!

My gf's not coming over so I can get wild on a Saturday night alone!
