Red Sub's value really hasn't moved that much over the past few years. Daytona's value may have a bigger jump.

I would love a Red Sub and the one pictured on the thread looks simply great. Am always concerned though about the fakes though out there - I just don't know enough about them to be sure I was buying the authentic article! Re the Daytona, I would go for a 16520 with the Zenith movement as opposed to the 116520. The dials look so much better (particularly the white dial version).

No question. I would pick the red Submariner. The only watch I've not regretted selling is the SS Daytona. I really missed the date feature.
