To be honest I was never interested in Hublot till the meca 10. I just love the way the movement looks and the 10 day power reserve is just amazing to me plus quite functional.

Really nice piece! Liking these — Integral, Meca and older Aerobang that I don’t know much about.

For much of the current Rolex collection I would agree with you. However I was a submarine officer and diver in the US Navy and my Rolex is a 5 digit sub with date. There are a few of us on the forum who bought and use them as tool watches (said with a straight face).

Meca 10 is awesome. How accurate time it keeps through 10 days...have you noticed?

From an article
"Although Hublot has not completely solved the problem of an extremely long power reserve, this watch can still be allowed to run for seven or eight days without suffering significant loss of timekeeping accuracy."

I owned a SuperB in the past and it was great. Many of their offerings were too big for my wrist. When the 42mm Unicos and Spirits came out I started to get interested again although at MSRP they're hard to swallow.

Any one familiar with the Hublot in-house movement used in Meca-10?

HUB 1201 : Hand-wound movement with 10 days of power reserve.
