Black roman dial vs. White Roman Dial

Does anyone find it hard to read the silver roman dials on black dial dj36? I love the way the black looks against the silver, and don't get me wrong I love the white dial too, but I worry about being able to read the time on the black dial. Does anyone with a black roman dj36 have any issues reading the time?

I find it absolutely fine, had a black roman dial DJ36 for going on two years now and never found it an issue. I find the roman numerals and the hands catch the light, even in low light, which makes it easy to tell the time at a glance.

At way past retirement age I have no issues reading white Romans or white Daytonas.

You can judge.

I have had a white roman since 1996. I never find it hard to read. They white roman is a timeless classic. The black seemed too flashy for me at the time, but beautiful!

To me, a white dial is always easier to read
