Question about Yacht-Master
Hi folks,
I have had 5 Rolex models..Datejust, Daytona, Sea-Dweller, Sub and now Sub LV and when adjusting the time in all of them, I turn the crown clockwise to move the time in a forward (clockwise) However in my wife's Yacht-master (new from same AD a year ago) when I turn the crown anti-clockwise the time moves clockwise. Opposite direction from all my other watches. Apart from this the watch is perfect. Is there any reason for this? does anyone know why the Yacht-Master would do this? Thanks in advance, |

As you've probably noticed, the position of the crown for winding, setting time, and setting date is also different on the ladies YM compared to Sub etc. Not sure why, just an observation.

The reason why the ladies' calibres don't adjust in the same direction as the gents' calibres is because they don't add reversor gears in. It's more of a space saving issue - the ladies ones are so small, it would make it overly thick to have that there. It's less of an issue on the gents' models

Quite true Jocke but anyone with any knowledge about Rolex movements should know that to set time ahead on the 3035 the crown is turned Counter clock wise. But on the 3135 to set the time ahead the crown is turned Clock wise
