Yeah I have an aeron that I purchased new from our work vendor at a discount and it was well worth it. The Herman Miller embody is also well regarded. Take a look at the commercial offerings from Steel case as well.

If you have an office furniture liquidator - I'd recommend going there to see the chairs and test them out in person. Generally speaking, majority of folks fine the Herman Miller aeron to work well for them but some people prefer other brands / models!

Good luck

As someone who has spent thousands of hours in a desk chair, I have found nothing that comes close to Herman Miller products. Lower end, Aeron, Higher End, Embody. I have been sitting on an Embody chair for the past 6 years and nothing I have had in 35 years comes even close. I can sit in this chair for 12 hours, stand up, and feel like I have sat on nothing. The chair literally disappears, you don't know you are sitting on it.

Yes - a lot of people out there refurbishing these chairs or are liquidators who purchase these chairs from start ups going out of business, etc... You can definitely get a good deal on one of these chairs this way.

Have to agree. Herman Miller build quality is second to none.

Here is my home office work station. This fits in beautifully with a home office IMHO

I prefer to use zero gravity outdoor chairs for this.
