I would keep if you only have the two. I have the BLNR, 114060 and an Explorer as the Rolex watches in my collection. I want to downsize from 12 watches to four over the next 12 months and for me the decision is to choose which to let go between the sub and the explorer.

Keep both! I got the BLNR first but wanted a more subtle daily beater and got the SubC date after. Both are excellent pieces and I have no plans to let go of them.

Did the exact same thing. Kept both, but put a RubberB strap on the Sub and moved the glidelock oyster to the BLNR. Makes them different enough to keep!

I’d find myself wearing Sub more as it is better daily IMO, so tough to let it go. Thinking of replacing with something different, or one watch only? |

I suspect I'll be in the minority here, but I wouldn't keep both--I'd try to flip the sub for something a little more different to keep things varied but that's just me. with market prices the way they are you could probably get something pretty cool for that sub...

I'd probably sell the sub, if I were you, but since I'm me I'd keep the sub and flip the Batman. I'd much prefer the sub over the Batman, even though I like both a lot. |

Flip the LN for an LV or a hulk, perfect combo.

ABSOLUTELY keep the Sub. The 114060 is the CLASSIC modern homage to the Sub - and they are two references that can most definitely co-exist in a collection.

I'd sell the Sub. I had the no date and while its a lovely watch I moved it on. The GMT has a more useful complication, is a nicer watch to look at, has the date function aswell and is fairly similar in that its a sports watch with ceramic bezel.
They're too similar to have both in my POV. I'd move one on and get something different to give you more variation in your collection. And the GMT is simply a nicer watch. Lose the sub and maybe get a datejust or something more dressy from another brand |

As much as I love both, I'd probably part with the sub, but replace (money being no issue) with a 5 digit sub which will provide more variation IMO. I have a BLNR but don't think it belongs on anything but the Oyster, so I would switch up the 5 digit sub with straps to mix things up a bit.
Problem solved!

I just got the new Batman July 2019 on Jubilee and I am also wondering the same! I have a sub with date...very tough decision.
What did you decide? |

I'd let go of the BLNR before the Sub. I'm a Sub guy, though.

Of course! They're both great references. They compliment each other very well. My next is going to be the 114060. I love that watch.

What’s the hurry? Wait a few months and see how often you wear both and then decide.

To me it would be no contest - 114060 is by miles more iconic.
