Goes w/98% of my stuff and is my only Rolex and daily watch. However, when I’m in my “marry ‘em or bury ‘em” dresses I refer to my Ladies Seiko. The attention should be on said person, not my watch mismatching the
outfit.

Yep, agreed. Green pretty much goes with anything. When was the last time anyone went outside and thought "man, too bad these colors clash with the trees and grass".

Not that it matters...The LVc stands on its own.

Plus, it's just a watch.

For a nice contrast I do the following with the colors I wear mostly:

Green Dial:
  • Grey Top
  • Black Top
  • White Top
*Green on green I feel appears on me too try hard

Black Dials:
  • Blue Top
  • Green Top

.

Agree with that statement; I generally put on whatever I see in my watchbox that interests me that day, not what matches with the outfit

It is a good statement to justify the purchase. For me It does not fit mostly with anything. Sorry but I honest think in that way

No need to apologize - we're all different, and it's great. Otherwise we'd ALL be wearing black subs and nothing else!

Same. I bought 2 actually in 2017. One for 7k and a 2016 model for 7800. So glad I bought them at the time. I doubt I’d want to shell out 15k for one today off the gray.

Great pics! Am patiently waiting for my LVc from my AD. She said it should just be a few months... The more I see it, the more it grows on me.

Also, can't wait to visit Porto. Had an opportunity to visit last fall but was unable to make it due to work. How was it?

Very versatile and just a damn sexy watch.

Great family picture, congratulations!
The Hulk? Too green. There'll be "better" iterations to come.

5 years ago these were sat on display in AD windows in the UK as a bit of an unloved, left field choice. Maybe a bit too GREEN for the mainstream.

So what has changed?

It is amazing the revisionism that takes place when you tell someone that they can't have something.

Personally love the watch by the way which is why I have been on the list for 18 months but it is a funny old world.

Was a dust collector 2 years ago at AD . Now its hot because of the hype for SS Rolexes still and all green watch. Wear with a dark suit at an event held out side on a sunny day. Will look ridiculous !

Wow! I love my Hulk but have to admit I rarely put this much thought in to what I wear it with. I need to ‘up my game’!

Blue and Green should never be seen without something in between

It’s a good looking watch!

Funny, I bought mine before the hype...could care less about "what's hot."

Wear the watch, and don't let the watch wear you...its all about confidence and owning it

i have a wedding to attend saturday and now i’m just going to have to wear my hulk with a black three-piece suit. and a green tie.

i did buy mine in 2017 directly out of my AD’s case, when they were still reasonably easy to source.

At an AD event last night, my SA (I know, rumors, who knows for sure, right?) said she thinks the same is happening with the Hulk now that happened with the black GMT last year. Units became impossible to get in because production ceased, a few units will be made available next year, but she's 99% certain the Hulk is going to be discontinued in 2020.

She's trying hard to find a way to get me one before that happens.

I'd say 4 years ago it was found everywhere. 3 years ago it started to fade away. 2 years ago was impossible. I remember this when I went to hunt for watches; it wasnt unobtainable, but it was getting harder. Towards end of 2017 it was just a premium piece.

I assume this comment was meant for me? Definitely not telling people their opinions are wrong - like I said, wear what you want!

But if someone comes into a thread about a specific watch just to blow it up and say "it looks ridiculous with X and it's only hot because of Y"...yes, I'm going to respond to that with my thoughts
