Cigar friend gave me this..

A cigar smoking friend , Chris Morgan, gave me this Cross pen after I mentioned to him that I wanted a nice pen. Most know his father from Mash . His dad was Harry Morgan, the famous Col Potter on The Mash series , Dragnet, and other great shows. I'm still planning on getting a Mont Blanc pen..besides being in the tv/ movie business, he likes to paint .

The Townsend is a nice pen, certainly as nice as the Montblancs and still pretty much an American Company that hopes to increase production in the US. Cross also owns the Sheaffer brand now.

Nice gift. What did you give in return?

Wow, what a nice gift. He looks a lot like His Dad. Great character actor. I've never seen Chris's artwork before. Very cool.

Also the Townsend still holds a lifetime warranty unlike a Montblanc.

Treasure that Cross Townsend!

Those are the best kinds of pens to receive. A great pen, a lot of history and great sentimentality! The best of everything!

Congratulations!

Lovely pen. Enjoy it. Was a huge fan of Col. Potter.

Some of my "more momentous" memories are encompassed by a gold filled Cross pen. Isn't a Cross pen, typically a ballpoint, supposed to begin our "journey" into enlightenment about the age of 24??? AAhhhhhh....! Yes. Bankers and ..."just sign right here Mr. So & So and here are the keys! Congratulationsa!

LOL

dummy:

Seriously... a nice pen with a lot of history!
