That's a bit of an optical illusion. It doesn't actually take up the whole wrist width, fortunately. And my wrist on the picture was shrunk to the smallest size (cca. 6.3 inch), since it was freezing cold out there when taking the picture. During the day my wrist swells up quite a bit (up to 6.6 inches), and it makes the Sub-C look better on me

I think it looks big in the photos. I dont like that or the wide lugs!
But to each his own. Still think it's a fine timepiece though!

The Sub C clasp also gives the watch head a nice counter balance so it always sits nicely on the wrist and doesn't try to pull to one side or the other like my 16600. In the summer, Glidelock is practically a necessity for me.
100% agree with Charles.

And I repeat what I said earlier: If you have a wrist between 6.5 and 7 ", just replace one full link of the five links at the 6 o'clock side by one half link, and the clasp will center perfectly....

The new clasp is huge. I was wondering if due to the length, if some people with smaller wrists find it uncomfortable?

I like the watch and when I get mine, I'm sure I can live with the size of the clasp regardless, but just wondering how other owners feel?
I tried it on and thought the same thing about the clasp. Massive to the point where i thought there was something wrong with the one i was trying on.

I love mine! The glidelock was one of the main reasons I went with the Sub C over the GMT II C!

Clasp is huge but I guess I'll just need to buy one to check out how comfortable it is.

I'm a skinny 17 year old.. This is a picture with my Sub-LVc on and I have never had any trouble with the length of the clasp

a good way to appreciate the clasp is to photograph it level with the bracelet. it's extremely thick.

I love the clasp on the Sub C. It fits my wrist perfectly and adjusts great with the glidelock options. The easy link is nice but I much prefer the glidelock.

I have a very skinny wrist but I think the clasp isn't too big and it's worth the extra size for the benefit of the glidelock.

Tom,

That is a fantastic tip! I did as you suggested and finished with the glide-lock and now have the best fit of any watch I ever had, just perfect! My wrist varies between 6.75 and 7 so not large by any means.

The half link is key! I ended up with 5 full links on the 12 o'clock end and 4 and a half on the 6 o'clock end.

Thanks!
