Update on my new Submariner

Thanks again for all the recent welcomes. I've been timing the new Sub since Sat and it has gained 10 seconds as of this morning. That seems well within normal expected range based on other posts.

Just wanted to throw that out.

I expect my Rolex watches to perform between +1 to +3 seconds daily. Yours is in that range and so I would be quite satisfied..

Very acceptable. Do you place it face up at night? That can be +1sec/day

Sounds like it's well within COSC.

Dial facing up will actually gain a second or so. Regardless......your Sub is doing great!!

It may change a bit as the watch settles in, but a couple seconds a day is perfect imho. Makes it a breeze to re-set to your reference time when the urge hits you occasionally.

Welcome and congratulations on your new Rolex.
