Does she even want a watch, or are you assuming she might like one because you would?

Not the way I would have gone (risk vs. reward) but wow, what a terrific update the OP supplied. Very, very cool.

A few of you may remember this post from last year, I got my eldest daughter an EXP1 from 1995 for her 21st birthday? Well it is my younger daughters 21st next month, I was expecting to get her the same model until she informed me she doesn’t like black dials, only white or silver!!!
Are there any white dialled “sports” models from 1996 around 36mm, explorer II would be too big. I am thinking about the new model Oyster at 36mm unless anyone can suggest anything else? |

Brilliant it is a superb choice. Your daughter will always think of dad even when you're long gone.
By the way I am buying birth year watches for my three grand children the grandson who is 3 is getting a sub, I found an unworn 2014 sub date which in now safely stored away ready for his 18th. I have just bought a 2011 midsize datejust two tone for my eldest grand daughter so I now need a 2016 similar model for my youngest grand daughter. I'm getting a great deal of pleasure from finding them See my post "one down two to go" |

There's a lot of different Datejust dials in white and silver and they're 36mm.

Birth year!
But it must be Mint Condition and a complete set!

Birth Year or New?
If she's got small wrists I'd go 31mm black dial DJ. Just did this for my wife and it wears big on the oyster bracelet.
