Highly accurate 1016 post servicing in Kathmandu

My slightly battered 1016 was completely overhauled by the RSC here in Kathmandu, for the relatively modest sum of $400 roughly. See image of all the parts, some of which are only 2-3 mm across. Can anyone identify all the various little parts and describe their function?

At the shop, the Rolex timer showed roughly 1 second per day accuracy, and after 10 days at home, that's still the case! Using the mobile phone clock, synched to their network time server, it looks like the 1016 is less than one second fast per day... 5 seconds is the spec.

The watchmaker here at the Kathmandu RSC spent quite a bit of extra time "poising" the balance wheel. He did this with the balance wheel out of the watch, and balanced across a small gap between two ruby (!) jaws of a specialized vise-like tool from Bergeon.

Apparently this is the ultimate way to tweak the watch's performance, and it surely seems to be working in my case.

Most of the parts seem to be from the automatic bridge assembly.
Then you have a crown tube, a balance staff, a complete barrel with its mainspring and barrel arbor, a second pinion, and anchor pallet.

the main spring is coiled up in the brass colored barrel (with arbor). it is currently exposed - the cover is the other part that is of the same color.

the thing between the cover and the barrel is the tube.

above the barrel is the second pinion friction spring.

above the cover - the purple ones - are rolex's famous reversing wheels.

the two ninja star shaped bits will fit inside the purple ones.

to the right of the higher reversing wheel is the pallet fork.

below the barrel is the driving wheel (for rachet wheel) - it's got 4 holes in it.

the thing between the driving wheel and the cover is a balance staff.

i don't know what the last item is... sorry! (i'm not a watchmaker)

My 1016 was also just recently serviced and it has been loosing one second per day for the whole week. I am equally impressed at the accuracy of the 1570 movement!

I see six gear-like thingies, a brassy looking flat plate, several spring like what-ca-ma-call-its and a couple of I-Have-No-Ideas

At first i thought the idea of a Nepal Rolex center was outrageous...

but wasn't that the original point of an explorer ???

I was there in the early 1970's. At that time you were lucky to find a clock of any kind, let alone a RSC. "You've come a long way baby."

Nepal has a lot of rich people. They do not take payment in cash however. I don't know the owner personally, have met them couple of times though. His a relative of my friend.

Even I was surprised when I found out Rolex has a store there ,given I am from Nepal!
Back in the days the ADs of other watches were notorious for selling watches with fake movements though or smuggling diamonds inside the watch, but that was 20 years ago!
