Red Sub with a seller: your thoughts? legit?















I am not certain the dial is original, but what do I know.

Service dial at best. Butchered case. Wrong insert. What is not to like.

Stay far away unless the seller is basically giving it away. Not much of anything in those photos is original to a red Sub.

I have a opinion ,Its worth something its a Rolex sub date with a service dial ,if it is cheap enough maybe £5k

Depending on the serial number it could be a nice daily beater like a heavily restored old car


What it isn't is a museum piece

I'm not seeing a butchered case, the service dial and insert I get but from what I can see from the images, the case looks strong, I'm just not sure it's a genuine rolex 1680 case though, as I see issues with the crown guards, better images would clear that up.
