Took a new Seiko Turtle PADI mountain biking

I've just gotten a new Seiko Turtle PADI beater watch, I took it mountain biking and it did very well without missing a beat over the rough trails.

I have a few Rolex but these Seiko diver watches got me amazed for being so inexpensive, attractive yet reliable and well made. I've recently gotten a new ss Daytona ceramic, but this Seiko Turtle diver watch have been on my wrist that I don't wear any of my Daytonas

Btw, I got new Strapcode Super Jubilee bracelet and Seiko Marine Master 300m clasp on it, this makes the watch a joy to wear even it's a 44mm (bigger than the SD43 I'm getting)

These Seiko are the best value for the money, they have in-house movements, history to go with them. What they don't have is status symbol, they're more like tools than jewelries like Rolex.

If you're going to get the Turtle, there's a version that made in Japan, even all the movements are made in Japan

I hit mine on the corner of a wall the other day. I blew the the sheetrock of my watch, and felt sorry for the wall. Not a mark on my Turtle

Nice! I have owned four of the SRP's and the PADI and 775 was there best looking in person. The blue dial on the PADI changes colors all day long.

Enjoy it.

True! The blue on the Pepsi turtle and the Samurai Blue Lagoon is really pretty. It looks different in various lighting situations.

Keep the Skx 007. Save for the Padi from one who has an 009 and a Padi. Skx is lighter.

Swap in a Strapcode super jubilee and Marine Master 300m clasp and this makes this watch a joy to wear:

I just ordered the jubilee from Strapcode. They've gotten a lot of business from me, and I'm always happy with their products.

Fantastic watch! My AD is holding one for me until I have time to go pick it up.
Great bang for the buck and overall fun piece to wear.
